SOAPwareXchangeHL7 Enhancement is an interface management system that:

Transfer Data Between Systems

HL7 is the industry standard protocol for transferring medical data between systems. SOAPwareXchangeHL7 uses the HL7 standard to receive and process messages from other medical systems.SOAPwareXchangeHL7 will likely interface with your reference lab and integrate your lab results directly into SOAPware. If not, an interface can likely be developed to work with your system. You can also use SOAPwareXchangeHL7 to receive radiology and other text reports directly into SOAPware.

Matching Algorithm

SOAPwareXchangeHL7 uses the same matching algorithm as SOAPwareExchange (our other practice management interface) to ensure correspondence between patient information from the HL7 message and the SOAPware chart.

Retain the Human Element

If a patient cannot be safely matched to an existing chart, it will be queued for manual assignment. Use the interface with less worry about duplicate charts or misdirected results.

Automatic Updates

New reports in SOAPware are added to the appropriate physician's Task list, so you will always know when there are new results requiring review.

Supported HL7 Interfaces

The HL7 specifications have great flexibility built in, and every system has a slightly different guideline implementation; because of this, each system will likely require a custom interface. Before any interfaces can be implemented at your site, you will need to contact the system vendor about the interface to ensure their system is ready to integrate.
