Over the next couple of weeks, we’d like to take an opportunity to introduce you to members of our SOAPware Sales and MarketingTeam. We hope you enjoy getting to know us better!
From Back Left: Andrew M. (Marketing Manager), Thomas V. (Sales Director), Trent H. (Western Regional Partner Coordinator), Ben O. (Customer Service Manager), Rex B. (Central Regional Partner Coordinator), Jacob F. (Web Developer), Brenna H. (Sales/Marketing Admin. Assistant), Brook C. (Financial Customer Account Representative), and Chris Parrish (Eastern Regional Partner Coordinator).
Rex B., our Central Regional Partner Coordinator, has been with the SOAPware Sales Team for 2 years. He is proud to have recently become a father for the first time and his son is now 10 weeks old. Rex is also the artist of our department and several of his works can be seen throughout the office. He enjoys drawing, painting, digital art, and playing basketball.
Andrew M., our Marketing Manager, joined the SOAPware family in the winter of 1999. Originally, working on the Technical Support team, he quickly moved into a position as a liaison between the Support and Development departments as our Database and Development Support Manager. Over the past 12 years, Andrew has always morphed into new roles to meet the demands of our growing company. A creative Jack of all trades, he has been managing our Marketing Department for the past year and a half.
“I love working on new and exciting projects, and filling the needs of the company as we grow.” said, Andrew. “Fundamentally it all boils down to this – I want to help improve healthcare by empowering our customers and their patients with technology. We have some amazing things in the pipeline, and I’m really looking forward to introducing them to the world.”
When asked what is the best part about working at SOAPware, he replied, “Everyone at SOAPware is part of my family. I’ve laughed with them, I’ve cried with them. We truly are a company that cares about one another, just as much as we care about our customers.” In his spare time, Andrew enjoys writing iPhone apps, woodworking, and trying to make things grow outside. He currently lives in Fayetteville, with his wife and their four boys – all of which are poodles.
Ben O., our customer service manager, has been working at SOAPware for 11 years as of this summer. When he came on board back in 2001, SOAPware was a small and somewhat informal operation. Our Sales Team then consisted of only himself and our Sales Manager, who is now our Chief Financial Officer. Everyone wore many “hats” in those days. Over the next several years, our customer base grew substantially, particularly after the introduction of SOAPware Version 4. At that time, Ben found himself taking the majority of our sales calls and processing and shipping all of our incoming orders. Luckily it wasn’t long before SOAPware began to bring on more talent to help in all departments, and we have been growing steadily since.
Within the last two years, Ben has had the chance to transition from a sales role into a customer relations role, which is an opportunity that he is very excited about. We have a fantastic team, which even includes several members of Ben’s family. When asked about his overall experience, Ben stated: “with each passing year SOAPware continues to evolve into a more fantastic organization. I look forward to what the future holds! “
Brenna H., the Sales/Marketing Admin. Assistant, started working for SOAPware last October. She primarily assists Brooke with managing customer accounts and processing orders, but is also our main blog editor. Brenna greatly enjoys her varying responsibilities at SOAPware, and likes to stay as busy as possible. She has found that an educational background in nursing and philosophy help her perform well here. Brenna is finally getting married July 29th, after having to cancel in February due to an inconvenient car accident which left her handicapped for a short time. She adores cats, gardening, playing guitar, singing, painting, and almost all outdoor activities.
We look forward to introducing more of our team, stay tuned for Part 2 next week!
